No matter what time of year or what day of the week it is, you can always find a sale somewhere on something! I make it my mission to never pay full price for anything. I have a few money saving strategies that I use that I would like to share with you today.
Shop Around
Whenever we plan to make a purchase, I start researching. I visit online sites, scour sale ads, read reviews and find out where the best deal is on the items we want or need.
Find Discount Codes
Once I find the lowest price on an item, then I start looking for ways to make the price even lower. I hunt down coupon codes and promotional deals that may help lower my bottom line price. My son needed new t-shirts, so we headed out to the mall for some shopping. Before we left, I printed out the 20% OFF Coupon for Aeropostale. I think it was my lucky day, because at Aeropostale, I found the Deal of the Week and ended up with an 83 % Savings! Check out all the details on Bargain of the Week, here!
When you find a great deal stock up
I use coupons to stock up on groceries and I use sales and discount codes to save on other items, too. 2 weeks ago I stumbled upon awesome clearance deals at Walmart. Most items were marked down to a $1. I found basketballs, camouflage gloves, water filtration systems, window sealing kits and more all for $1. I ended up with $446 in retail merchandise for just $44.60. My gift closet is overflowing. I was thrilled!
Stack Your Savings
Now, you found awesome deals and great prices, so now you need the money to pay for these items. Most of my purchases are made with gift cards. I buy them at discounted prices, earn them from sites like Super Points or Swag Bucks to earn them for FREE. I can even buy gift cards at the grocery store and earn gas points for buying them. You can also sell unwanted gift cards on CouponTrade.Com to get cash to buy stuff you really want.
Just putting in some extra time finding the best deals can truly save you money and more money!
What stores do you shop at most often? Did you find any great deals this week?
