Happy Friday everyone! This week we are talking about our favorite Disney Channel stars.

Selena Gomez is best known for her role on the Disney Channel series Wizardly Place. Since 2009, Gomez and her band, The Scene, have taken the music world by storm. Selena Gomez & The Scene’s ability to cross over from the Disney genre to mainstream pop is impressive. Their latest video ‘Hit the Lights’ is full of excitement! It reminds me of being a carefree teenager, hanging out with friends on summer nights and getting into all sorts of mischief.

Following in the footsteps of The Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block, The Jonas Brothers are the modern day boy band. Having gotten their big break from the Disney Channel in 2008, The Jonas Brother quickly rose to the top of the charts. In their most recent video each brother gets assigned his own storyline, which is based off popular movies from the past. ‘Burnin Up’ features cameos from Selena Gomez and has humorous story lines.

Most famously known for her role in Disney’s ‘Camp Rock’, Demi Lovato is another popular Disney Channel star. Lovato, along with Selena Gomez got her start on Barney & Friends at the age of seven. Her first album debuted at number two on the Billboard 200. Lovato’s video ‘Skyscraper’ is simplistic yet powerful. Set in an empty desert, the overwhelming theme “Knock me down but I will stand right back up” makes for an intense and passionate music video.
